Why Hungary?
Hungary is the main destination of dental tourism in Europe. This segment is growing rapidly because people are satisfied with the service they receive. Around 25 years ago, Austrians started to visit Hungarian dentists because they began to recognise the good quality and low prices. Since they were satisfied, it spread from mouth to mouth . Hungarian dentists have gained remarkable professional experience in terms of dentistry quality and customer services in the last 25 years. After 2004 when Hungary joined the EU a new boom started. A lot of people from West European countries, the UK, Ireland and the USA have been coming for dental treatments to Hungary.
What makes it easy now is that Hungary is a member sate of the European Union. No visa is required from entire Europe. See
How can it be so cheap?

What is the process of the treatments?

Do you need my previous treatment records?
We do not need your previous treatment reports. You will receive a status assessment and that is sufficient to carry through your high quality dental treatment at our clinic. You will get the status assessment for FREE.
How much would it cost in total?
By adding up all costs, am I much better off?
Adding up all costs (e.g. dental treatment, accommodation, travel, etc.) you can still save 50-70% or thousands of savings.
Cost calculation depends on your viewpoint. On the one hand you may say that you will have a pleasant holiday so travel is not an additional cost. The opposite approach is when somebody adds up every piece of cost (e.g. cost of eating that would occur anyway at home, value of time, etc.).
What if there is a complication?
To have a complication has very little possibility at our clinic. In the rare cases when problems occur during the period of guarantee, we will cover the cost of the travelling and accommodation and also we will make the necessary treatment free under guarantee conditions. See Guarantee and safety
If you have any complaints or you feel there is something goes wrong after the treatment, the fist think is to contact with us directly any time. See details about the procedure at
If physical abuse of your teeth, oral and denture hygiene, annual checking up is neglected or dentist instructions are not followed, we may ask you for contribution to guarantee treatment. When any problems occur, you should contact us immediately. See
What is with aftercare?
After your visit we will give you a ring in a couple of days to make sure that everything is all right.
You should visit us for a status assessment once a year during the guarantee period. During the annual status assessment you will get feedback of your dental status and we will advise you on how you can lengthen the health of your teeth. Our goal is to give the maximum possible length to your oral health. With preventive and in time treatments you can keep your teeth and mouth in the best possible health.
How shall I pay?
You can pay either by
- cash in EUR, GBP, USD, CHF or HUF or
- Maestro, MasterCard, Visa, or Visa electron bank cards
If you pay by cash we can give you 2% discount.
ATTENTION: Before you would pay with credit/debit card, please, check its limit, and, if necessary, increase the limit in time in order to would able to pay at the clinic.
The payment is on pro-rata basis the treatment done and begun. Practically that generally means around 60% of the quoted amount should be paid at the end of the 1st day of your treatment and the rest when completed. If the entire treatment takes longer than 14 days (e.g. implantation), we split the treatment into separate phase and payment is by phase, so the completed phase should be paid.
Our prices are fixed in EUR. Other currencies are subject to everyday currency exchange rate fluctuation. In the case of bank or credit/debit card payment, we make the charges in EUR. See

How can I travel to Hungary?
Nowadays travel by an airline is as easy as by an intercity train or bus but cheaper, much faster and safer. you should just book your air ticket, go to the airport, and we will organize the rest. You can reach us within a couple of hours by airlines from the UK, Ireland and other parts of Europe. See Find a flight
You should book the air ticket by yourself. Contact us to help you choose the right flight and find the easiest way to book it if you cannot do it by yourself.
Visa exemption or get a visa
No visa is required from entire Europe (i.e. Member States of the European Union (EU), Switzerland, Norway, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, and Turkey), the United States (US), Canada, Mexico, Japan, India, China, Australia, New Zealand, and many other countries. You can get visa from the Hungarian Embassies or Consulates at the countries where you have your permanent residence or citizenship. See Hungarian embassies and consulates
You can find a summary below what documents you need to submit for a visa application. ATTENTION, before you apply please always check the actual regulation at How to apply for visa :
- completed and signed application form. The application form is called “Application for Schengen Visa” because Hungary is member of the Schengen States. Download Visa application forms
- passport with validity more than 90 days
- 1 passport-size colour photo, not older than 6 months
- travel medical insurance covering at least 30.000 EUR for financing urged health services valid for entire Europe and the whole period of stay or visits
- certificate providing lawful stay
- certificate that prove that you have sufficient financial converge to finance you expenses of stay, e.g. bank account statement, income certificate, etc.
- prepaid accommodation of stay. Before you submit your application, please clarify with the embassy how many days they can provide you a visa and with the us your treatment scheduling.
A visa costs around 43GPB or 60EUR.
For dental treatment, you should apply for Short Term visa with multiples entries, what you have to indicate in the application form.
Please book the air-ticket and hotel when you know how long it will take to get the visa and according to your treatment dates.

How can I get to the Clinic?
We will provide you FREE limousine service from and to the Budapest Airport.
We will provide you FREE car between your hotel and Clinic in district no. 1 and 2. The 2nd and 3rd number of the post code of and address refers to the district.
If you choose Hotel Belvedere, Hotel Budapest or Hotel Fabius, they are 500-600 meters close to the clinic. See

What and how can I eat in Hungary?
In Hungary, the restaurants are much cheaper than in the UK or West Europe. You can have an excellent dinner in a nice and good restaurant for fractional prices than home. See Prices and savings
International cuisine and Hungarian specialities are widely available in Budapest. You can also visit many pubs, wine tubes and bars.
Hungarian cuisine is said to be one of the best European among France, Italian, Spanish or Greek. You can taste the original goulash (it is not exactly what is commonly believed to be), and other meals with paprika or many other not so well-known Hungarian specialities. The restaurants in Hungary fit with the EU standards and HACCP (an international systematic preventative approach to food safety).
